Professional Planner and Zenith Investment Partners today reveal the first nominees for the 2012 Fund Awards. These fund managers have been shortlisted by Zenith and in addition to being nominated in their respective categories are also in the running to be named Australia’s overall Fund Manager of the Year.

The fund awards assess each manager’s capability in a particular fund category, and reflect the experience and expertise of the teams that implement the managers’ investment processes and styles.

In total, there are 15 fund categories, along with Fund Distributor of the Year (for the organisation that provides access to third-party managers’ capabilities) and the coveted Fund Manager of the Year. Winners will be announced at a luncheon to be held in Sydney in October.
