Robert MC Brown AM is a chartered accountant with more than 30 years’ experience in taxation, superannuation, financial planning and education. As a member of the Australian Defence Force, he founded the ADF Financial Services Consumer Centre, a body within the Department of Defence that designs and presents financial education programs and services to members and their families from recruit stage to retirement. He is a director of Ecstra Foundation Limited, a charitable body that provides grants in support of financial capability programs throughout Australia and is a member of the Financial Planning Technical Task Force of the Accounting Professional and Ethical Standards Board.

David Haintz is founder and principal of business-to-business consultancy Global Adviser Alpha. He is a CFP and a past director of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA), where he was instrumental in the push for professionalism. David has had a 26-year career with his own firm and subsequently became a founding director of Shadforth Financial Group. He departed Shadforth in 2015 and established Global Adviser Alpha.
