AMP adds BT talent to its North leadership team

AMP has made three appointments to its North leadership team, including talent from BT and MLC.

BT head of operations Sharyn Baker will join as director of operations in a newly created role. She spent eight years at BT and was most recently head of service and operations. David Hutchison joins as general manager of managed portfolios and investments. He will be responsible for helping advisers effectively run their investment propositions. He has over 20 years of experience in product management, investments and consulting and previously held senior positions at MLC and NMG Consulting.

Mike Way was appointed as director for strategy and transformation earlier this year, a newly created position. He is responsible for delivering North’s growth aspirations through strategy design and transformation delivery. Prior, he was a strategy partner at Deloitte.

All three will report to AMP platforms group executive Edwina Maloney.
