ASIC has released the results of the November adviser exam which has seen 225 candidates (77 per cent) pass the exam, an increase compared to the September sitting which saw only 62 per cent pass.

There were 289 people that sat the exam including 207 that sat for the first time.

The exam, conducted by the Australian Council for Educational Research since inception, follows a rigorous process to ensure all candidates in each cycle are tested to the same standards.

As has been the practice for previous cycles, unsuccessful candidates will receive general feedback from ACER on the areas they underperformed.

The next exam will be 6 March 2025.
