Some 62 per cent have passed the August sitting of the ASIC adviser exam, the lowest since the November 2022 sitting when 57 per cent passed.

The 26th sitting of the exam saw 143 out of 231 candidates pass, while 73 per cent (170) sat for the first time.

The government modified the adviser exam this year to make it multiple choice and the first sitting under the changes, held in March, saw a 70 per cent rate.

To date, 21,430 individual candidates have sat the exam. Over 19,835 (92 per cent) of candidates who have sat the exam have passed.

The indicative dates for exams in 2025 are 6 March, 5 June, 7 August, and 6 November.
