Around 70 per cent of candidates have passed the 25th adviser exam, which was held in June, according to an update from ASIC.

In the June exam cycle:

  • 235 people sat the exam;
  • 70 per cent (165) passed the exam; and
  • 67 per cent (158) sat the exam for the first time.

As has been the practice for previous cycles, unsuccessful candidates will receive feedback from ACER on the areas they underperformed.

To date, 21,260 individual candidates have sat the exam. Over 19,692 (92 per cent) of candidates who have sat the exam have passed.

This was the second sitting since the exam structure was updated, with 70 per cent also passing in March.
