BMO Global Asset Management Australia hires intermediary sales director

BMO Global Asset Management announced today that it has added a key new hire to its Australian office, with Michael Angwin joining as Director, Intermediary Sales.

Mr. Angwin will be responsible for building BMO Global Asset Management’s presence in the Australian financial advisory channel. He will report to Ravi Sriskandarajah, Managing Director, BMO Global Asset Management (Australia).

“We’re excited to have someone of Michael’s calibre on board,” said Mr. Sriskandarajah. “With more than a decade of experience in the financial services sector, Michael brings an exceptional background of industry experience and a wealth of knowledge to the BMO family. He will be a great addition as we continue to grow our institutional and retail investor business in Australia.”

Prior to joining BMO Global Asset Management, Mr. Angwin was the Vice President and National Distribution Manager at AQR Australia and began his career in equities at Commonwealth Bank. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Sydney and is a qualified financial adviser.
