Macquarie boosts adviser team with lucky 13

Macquarie Private Wealth has appointed 13 new advisers in six of its state offices as it targets ambitious growth across its advice business.

In Queensland, the Brisbane team has welcomed six new faces.

Angela Hayward, Tom Maxwell, Mark O’Flynn and Steven Menyweather have all joined as private client advisers, while Katerina Gagliostro and Wesley Hui have joined as associate advisers.

The Perth and Adelaide offices have added Allie Clarke and Frank Zappia to their respective teams.

In addition, Adelaide has welcomed Michael Sanderson as a senior private wealth manager.

Senior private client advisers, Joel Wright and Tony Gaudry, have joined the teams in Manly and Canberra respectively.

In New South Wales, the Sydney team has grown with the addition of private client advisers, Danny Chiu and Simon Vanstone.

Commenting on the new appointments, head of Macquarie Private Wealth, Eric Schimpf, said he was delighted to welcome the new staff.

“With ongoing market volatility and regulatory change, it is important for our clients to be getting their advice from a team of experienced advisers who can add value through the quality insights and recommendations they deliver,” Schimpf said.

“When we bring on board new advisers, we search for those with a broad range of skills to meet the diverse investment needs of our clients and, importantly, share our client-centric approach.”
