Bain Capital matches CC Capital bid for Insignia

Bain Capital has made a revised offer to take over ASX-listed wealth giant, Insignia Financial, matching the offer from CC Capital last week.

The new Bain proposal offered to acquire all Insignia shares at $4.3 cash per share, the latter said in an ASX announcement on Monday. The private investment company also said it is open to discussing a structure that would allow Insignia shareholders to receive part of the deal as equity in the new company controlled by Bain.

Bain’s new proposal and CC Capital proposal both represent a 7.5 premium to the original Bain offer in December 2024.
