My Dealer Services has appointed Ashley Mahadeea as head of strategy as the firm looks to grow its depth of services and number of self-licensed advisers.
Mahadeea has experience advising fintech start-ups on growth strategies and business development and will contribute this experience as MDS enters a period of significant growth.
Previously, he was head of client partnerships at wealth-tech firm GBST after it acquired digital advice firm Advice Intelligence.
Mahadeea has also worked as a financial adviser and is currently national deputy chair of the Gen Next Community at the Financial Advice Association to facilitate the transfer of knowledge, skills, experience and networks from experienced advisers to those starting their financial advice career.
MDS was established 12 years ago and since then has helped more than 500 businesses set up their own credit or financial services license.
