Insignia Financial has appointed former ASIC Commissioner Danielle Press as chair and non-executive director of the Insignia Financial trustees.
The trustees comprise IOOF Investment Management, NULIS Nominees, OnePath Custodians and Oasis Fund Management Limited. Collectively, these four entities are responsible for five Registrable Superannuation Entities including MLC Super, Retirement Portfolio Services, Oasis Superannuation Master Trust, AvWrap and IOOF Portfolio Service.
Press will join as non-executive director from 19 September 2024 and as chair in November.
She has more than 30 years’ experience across the financial services industry, most recently as a Commissioner at ASIC between 2018 and 2023.
Prior to that she was CEO at The Myer Family Company, CEO at Equipsuper and managing director at UBS Global Asset Management.
Press will replace Lindsay Smartt who, after five years with the organisation, has decided to step down.
