Asset manager State Street Global Advisors has agreed to acquire five percent equity of fintech platform Raiz.
In addition, Raiz customers will also have access to State Street’s library of financial literacy content and investment education tools.
Raiz, which launched in 2016, is a micro-investing and fintech platform which pioneered the ‘round-Up’ concept in Australia where everyday purchases are rounded-up to the next dollar and the difference is invested into a Raiz Invest account.

The Entireti University Challenge – established 16 years ago by AMP – continues to attract strong support from students around the country, with 91 teams from 13 tertiary institutions taking part this year. Entireti chief executive officer Neil Younger says the competition showcases the “high calibre of talent coming up through our universities and tertiary education institutions at a critical time for the profession”.
