According to a survey by super fund Equip Super, 71 per cent of Australians consider travel their top priority when spending retirement savings.
Health issues were the second most important priority at 56 per cent with hobbies and interests third at 55 per cent.
The survey questioned more than 2,000 Australians.
The following question was included in the research survey: “What are your spending priorities for retirement/the most important areas you want to ensure retirement savings will cover?”
