Some 66 per cent of candidates have passed the 23rd adviser exam, which was held in November, according to an update from ASIC.

In the November exam cycle:

  • 219 people sat the exam;
  • 66 per cent (145) passed the exam; and
  • 70 per cent (154) sat the exam for the first time.

As has been the practice for previous cycles, unsuccessful candidates will receive general feedback from ACER on the areas they underperformed.

To date, 20,875 individual candidates have sat the exam. Over 19,310 (92 per cent) of candidates who have sat the exam have passed.
