Investment manager Federated Hermes has partnered with The Global Alliance for a Sustainable Planet (GASP) in the leadup to COP28 in the United Arab Emirates.
The two will look to leverage concessionary capital and attract private investment to solve urgent challenges outlined by UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The aim is to create a scalable platform that aligns patient capital with the development needs of countries on the frontlines of climate change.
GASP develops partnerships between key stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, global corporations, development finance institutions, civil society organisations, and investors to incubate ideas with sustainability impact.
