Dexus appoints CEO

Real estate asset manager Dexus has appointed Ross Du Vernet as CEO and executive director, effective from March 2024.

Du Vernet has been a member of the executive leadership team since he joined Dexus in 2012 and currently serves as chief investment officer at the company.

He has more than 20 years of extensive experience in the property industry with a background in corporate transactions, strategy, development and funds management in Australia and abroad.

Du Vernet will replace Darren Steinberg, who announced his departure after 11 years in the company earlier this year.

Steinberg and Du Vernet will work together before the latter’s official commence date as transition.
