New managing director at AMP SMSF

AMP has appointed Suncorp executive Natasha Fenech as the new managing director of AMP SMSF.

Fenech will join AMP in February from Suncorp where she is currently executive general manager, Personal insurance customer, product and pricing. She will report to Paul Sainsbury who was promoted to chief customer officer in April.

Sainsbury said Fenech’s appointment capped off a big year for AMP SMSF, which recently acquired SMSF administration business Supercorp.

“Natasha’s leadership and business experience will be invaluable during a period of growth and development for AMP SMSF,” he said.

Fenech has been with Suncorp for seven years in a variety of roles including executive general manager, Commercial insurance. Prior to that, she worked at Citigroup, A.T Kearney, Zurich Financial Services and Royal & SunAlliance.
