Sequoia chief executive survives attempted ouster

Shareholders of ASX-listed licensee Sequoia Financial Group have voted for chief executive Garry Crole and director Kevin Pattison to stay in the firm following attempts to replace the duo with Peter Brook and Brent Jones.

In an ASX announcement, the company said an extraordinary general meeting held on 5 June didn’t see any of the four proposed resolutions passed.

Over 64 per cent of shareholders voted for Crole and Pattison to stay.
