NAB today announced the appointment of Stephen Poole as General Manager of Meritum Financial Group.
Meritum Financial Group has more than 100 advisers across Australia, providing expert personalised financial planning and wealth advice to clients.
“With almost three decades’ experience in the financial planning industry, Stephen brings to this role extensive commercial and management experience,” General Manager of Advice Partnerships, NAB Wealth, Ross Barnwell, said.
Mr Poole is currently Manager of Business Growth for NAB and MLC’s Advice Partnerships in Queensland, and was previously Chief Executive Officer of Keystone Partnership Pty Ltd. He also has prior experience in Professional Investment Services with Centrepoint Alliance Limited and Suncorp Life.
Mr Poole will commence in the role on 1 January 2017.
“With strong commercial and leadership skills, Stephen will help evolve the business and support the continued delivery of high-quality financial advice to clients. We look forward to seeing Meritum go from strength to strength under his leadership,” Mr Barnwell said.
Mr Poole is an active member in the financial services industry, with memberships of FINSIA, the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Association of Financial Advisers, and the Financial Planning Association.
