Bentleigh-based financial advice provider Stephens Plattfuss & Co has won the national award for best medium-sized advice firm from Centrepoint Alliance, Australia’s leading network of financial advisers.
The Awards were created to celebrate the quality and diversity of Centrepoint’s advice community.
Stephens Plattfuss & Co provides holistic financial advice, investment, lending and accounting services focussed on Melbourne’s south east and bayside suburbs.
The firm’s financial services partner, Claudio Orrico, says the key to their success has been an unwavering focus on their clients. “We are all about building relationships with our clients – getting to know them as people, so we can help them achieve their dreams,” says Claudio.
“We are genuinely passionate about helping our clients achieve their financial goals. That is the sole driver of our business, and that’s what we love doing. I consider our clients as if they were my own family and friends. If something is good enough for my family and friends, then it is good enough for my clients.
Claudio says most of the firm’s clients come from their existing client base referring their own families and friends. “We have quadrupled our financial services business in nine years just through organic growth.
“We are often looking after three or even four generations of the same family. Baby boomer parents may be preparing for retirement, while dealing with their own ageing parents and trying to help their own children through education and get established to start their own families. They can do with some help and we’re here to provide it.”
Claudio has a dedicated team including another licensed financial adviser, Jill Gordon, technical experts and support staff.
Claudio said he and his team were thrilled to win this national Award. “It is testament to our team’s hard work, and a reflection of who we are and what we love doing.”
