IOOF-owned Bridges Financial Services has announced the permanent appointment of Nathan Stanton as its new CEO.
In his new role as head of the more than 200-strong authorised representatives/financial planners business*, Stanton will work closely with both planner practices and alliance partners to further drive the growth of the business.
Commenting on his appointment, Stanton said, ‘Bridges Financial Services is one of Australia’s leading financial planning businesses with a strong reputation of providing clients with quality financial advice.
‘I am looking forward to working with the practices in building on this reputation and further developing our unique referral partner relationships. It’s a fantastic opportunity and one I’m very excited about.’
Over the last three years, Stanton led the Western Pacific Financial Advisors dealer group that was part of IOOF-SFG Australia acquisition. He played a key role in the transition of self- employed advisers to alternative licensees within the IOOF group.
General Manager of Wealth Management, Renato Mota, said ‘We are delighted to have Nathan in the role. His financial planning background coupled with his strong values and beliefs align well with the future of Bridges.’
With over 18 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Stanton started as a financial planner before moving into various financial planning management positions. Stanton is a Certified Financial Planner, holds degrees in Commerce and Economics and recently completed his Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
