The alignment between healthy lives and life insurance is an important part of TAL’s wider investment in helping advisers grow their businesses through new initiatives, which ultimately enable them to deliver greater value to their clients.
As part of the evolution of the TAL Health Sense: Fit for Life program, TAL has partnered with The Healthy Chef, Teresa Cutter to offer advisers and their clients access to an array of great content aimed at supporting a healthy lifestyle.
Teresa Cutter, founder of The Healthy Chef is a chef, nutritionist, author and fitness trainer and knows all about fitting good health and nutrition into a busy life.
The newly announced partnership will provide advisers with Healthy Chef content including recipes and other expert healthy lifestyle information, which they can both utilise themselves and share with their clients to support healthy lifestyle choices.
TAL General Manager, Retail Distribution Niall McConville said the new partnership with Teresa would help give advisers valuable information as part of the holistic TAL wellness approach.
“TAL Health Sense: Fit for Life is about being sensible and simple. We have had great results with advisers with the Health Sense proposition and this is another simple way advisers can engage and learn more about nutrition for themselves and their clients,” Mr McConville said.
Commenting on the new collaboration, Healthy Chef founder Teresa Cutter said: “I’m really excited to be involved with the TAL Health Sense initiative as it helps encourage customers to make sensible choices about their health.”
“It’s such a great fit because my aim as The Healthy Chef is all about inspiring people to improve their wellbeing by teaching people to cook their own food and eat healthier, so everyone can live better lives filled with good health and happiness.”
The TAL Health Sense: Fit for Life program continues to evolve and TAL will soon introduce new tools for advisers, including useful tips from The Healthy Chef that will assist advisers with engaging new and existing clients around healthy living.
This new collaboration builds on the expertise of Executive Performance Coach Paul Taylor who partnered with TAL earlier this year and was a guest speaker to advisers on how best to take advantage of the health conversations with clients.
“We are delighted to work with leading experts so that the benefit to advisers is creating more opportunities with clients and building stronger and longer relationships that have a positive outcome – for both financial and physical health and wellbeing,” Mr McConville said.
The Healthy Chef will feature at TAL’s stand at the upcoming AFA National conference 5-7 October 2016.
