A unique Asteron Life interactive customer tool has won a global marketing award.

The Wheel of Balance tool has won the ‘Best Use of Content Curation’ category of the global Content Marketing Institute Awards. In doing so, it beat a number of established international brands.

The Wheel of Balance is an interactive tool housed on Asteron Life’s customer-facing Balance Blog content platform and supports Asteron Life’s brand proposition of ‘Celebrate Life’. It’s an engaging, useful and fun mechanism that lets users undertake a personalised self-assessment of each area of their lives (finance, family and friends, career, health etc.).

Depending on their results, it then provides users with valuable content from Asteron Life’s health and wellbeing blog platform, Balance, which has network of experts uniquely tailored to their specific needs.

“The aim of Wheel of Balance was to reinvigorate engagement with the blog and use its results to inform ongoing content generation,” said Ms Tammy Hall, Head of Brand and Marketing, Suncorp.

“Since its launch in October 2015, the tool has already driven significant uplift in several key engagement metrics,” said Ms Hall.
