The FSC is proud to announce PwC as platinum sponsor of its national annual conference – 2016 Leaders Summit

The Leaders Summit is the FSC’s premier conference event bringing together finance and business professionals from across Australia to connect, inspire and shape the future direction of the industry.

Sally Loane FSC CEO said the partnership was testament to the strong ties the consulting and professional services firm has with the financial services industry.

“We are delighted to have PwC join our annual event as a platinum sponsor. The FSC has enjoyed strong links with PwC for many years and this commitment to the Leaders Summit for the benefit of FSC members and the greater finance and business community, reflects this strong tie.

“Leaders Summit delegates will enjoy keynote presentations and practical sessions which will equip them with the skills and knowledge required to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing business landscape. This is made possible by the support from PwC.”

PwC, Asset Management Leader, Anthony James said the company was excited to be the major sponsor of the FSC’s premier conference event.

“PwC is delighted to be the platinum sponsor of the FSC Leaders Summit. Right across the world the finance and business community is grappling with both the challenges and opportunities from digital technology, data, changing operating models and trust and transparency.”

“What better time than now to come together and consider the issues that impact not only our sector, but Australia’s future prosperity. The FSC Leaders Summit plays a crucial role in facilitating the debates that will help us progress these important agendas,” said Mr James.

The Leaders Summit aligns with the FSC’s strategic direction to redesign its conference program to better meet its members’ professional requirements.

As part of this bold new direction, the FSC has relocated its national three-day conference in Queensland to a more focused two-day event in Melbourne.

Ms Loane said the 2016 FSC Leaders Summit was designed to take the industry in a new direction and is being held just 18 days after the federal election.

“The FSC Leaders Summit will be the first large gathering of senior business people in the wake of the Federal election,” Ms Loane said.

As well as analysis of policies directly impacting on the heavily regulated financial services sector, themes that will influence the Summit include millennials, superannuation, culture and diversity.
