IMCA australia today announced that PortfolioConstruction Forum has commenced the management and delivery of the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) certification.  Additionally, in conjunction with and alongside IMCA australia, PortfolioConstruction Forum has commenced managing and delivering continuing education for holders of the CIMA designation.  This strategic relationship between IMCA australia and PortfolioConstruction Forum to deliver education services to our Australian members was initiated in March.

“We are delighted to be working with PortfolioConstruction Forum on this development”, said IMCA australia Chair, Mr Brett Elvish.  “PortfolioConstruction Forum is a provider of high quality financial education to professionals in investment and wealth management and by utilising the resources of PortfolioConstruction Forum CIMA applicants and certificants will benefit.”

“The benefits accrue from the enhanced flexibility we will provide”, added Mr Graham Rich, Publisher at Brillient!, owner of PortfolioConstruction Forum. “For 2016, it’s a seamless transition, but as we move into 2017 we will provide applicants with several options to complete their studies so that applicants will have a learning experience more tailored to their needs”, he added.

In addition to managing and delivering the CIMA qualification in Australia, PortfolioConstruction Forum will provide continuing education specifically for CIMA designation holders to assist with their continuous learning requirement.  This continuing education will be in addition to the seminars and annual conference provided by IMCA australia.

“I’m passionate about continuing education and I support the government’s objectives to raise educational standards.  All participants, whether a practitioner or non-practitioner, in the wealth and investment management industry has a responsibility to step up and show leadership when it comes to continuing education. CIMA is an excellent program to accomplish that aim,” Graham Rich commented.

“The CIMA designation requires a commitment to attain and a commitment to retain.  That’s why it is well recognised globally amongst Investment Management Analysts and their clients”, said Mr Brett Elvish.

“We’ll be dovetailing into the successful continuing education that IMCA australia provides for its members, offering a broader variety of topics for further study and also the opportunity to delve deeper into topic areas”, added Graham Rich.

This relationship has commenced with PortfolioConstruction Forum managing the process for applicants to achieve the CIMA qualification in 2016.
