Financial advice technology firm, Padua Financial Group, has launched Roma Online, a new online advice request system for dealer group financial planning practices and independent financial advisers.

Roma Online has been designed in response to the financial planning industry’s continuing focus on raising professional standards, improving compliance measures and ensuring all clients receive high quality and cost-effective advice.

Roma Online enables financial advisers to submit advice requests through a simple-to-use online system. Roma Online assists and guides financial advisers in producing the advice, while ensuring dealer group and licensee compliance requirements are met. Padua’s Roma Online advice request technology can be used as a standalone tool or in conjunction with dealer group financial planning software to automate the advice process. The software includes workflow tracking that enables dealer groups to monitor Statement of Advice (SOA) requests and conduct online audits without needing to be onsite.

Roma Online is simple-to-use, fast, smart and affordable. Advice requests can range from the most simple to the most comprehensive, with SOA turnaround service levels of close of business plus five business days, and faster turnaround times available on request. In keeping with the industry’s ongoing efforts to ensure financial advice is affordable and accessible for all Australians, Padua has designed Roma Online to allow SOAs to be produced for less than $500.

Commenting on the release of Roma Online, Padua Financial Group Managing Director, Anne-Marie Esler, said:

“Financial advice technology firms have a responsibility to respond to increased compliance requirements, by developing software that assists and supports both financial services licensees and financial planning practices. Padua has designed Roma Online to enable financial advisers to request high quality product replacement and strategy advice and, importantly, to demonstrate the value of that advice to their clients. Roma Online solves compliance issues for dealer groups and licensees, and gives advisers more time, energy and resources to respond to the needs of their clients.”

Padua Financial Group is also pleased to announce it will release its next generation financial advice software, Roma Cloud, to advisers across Australia later in 2016. Developed to compete directly with Xplan’s Xtools+, Coin’s Strategy and Midwinter’s AdviceOS, Roma Cloud will enable advisers to produce strategic advice, using a simple comparative approach that highlights the client’s existing and recommended scenarios, whilst also assisting financial advisers demonstrate the value of their advice.
