NAB Wealth has announced Matthew Fogarty as the new General Manager of Garvan and MLC Financial Planning.
Mr Fogarty will replace James Meade, who was recently promoted to the Head of Partnerships Development role.
Mr Fogarty brings with him more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, working with both advisers and advice practices. Mr Fogarty’s most recent role was at AMP, where he was Head of Financial Planning for ipac Equity Partners and Genesys. Prior to that, Mr Fogarty was a founding partner of the Encore Group, a specialist practice management consulting firm.
NAB Wealth Advice Partnerships General Manager Ross Barnwell said: “There’s a real sense of enthusiasm running through our business at the moment, and we are delighted someone of Matthew’s experience is joining the business.
“With more than 20 years of industry experience, Matthew is perfectly placed to lead MLC FP and Garvan – two businesses dedicated to providing quality advice to help grow, manage and protect customers’ wealth.

Mr Fogarty will commence in the role on 24 August.
