State Street Corporation has announced an executive appointment in the Sydney office of its investment servicing business, State Street Global Services.
Paul Khoury has been appointed head of State Street Global Services for Australia and New Zealand, responsible for the Global Services business and operations, effective from 30 June. Khoury, who has been at State Street since 2001, was most recently head of Asset Manager Sector Sales for the Asia Pacific region and prior to that, chief operating officer for Global Services in Australia.
In his new role, Khoury will focus on capitalising on State Street’s strong sales pipeline, overseeing existing client relationships and integrating new clients such as Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC). Earlier this month VFMC announced that State Street had been appointed custodian and administrator of its $50 billion in assets.
Khoury will report to Chris Taylor, who retains his role as overall head of State Street Global Markets and Global Services for Australia and New Zealand.
