IQ Group today announces the appointment of John Shea as principal consultant for its Queensland operations. In this role John will lead a team of consultants to guide superannuation and wealth management clients to better business outcomes. Since the launch of its Brisbane office in 2012, the consultancy has delivered independent advice on technologies, processes and regulatory change to a wide range of local and national clients.
With over two decades of specialised technology, management consultancy and market analyst experience, John was most recently a Senior Consultant, Business Process Solutions at OpenText Corporation. Prior to this, he held a Senior Consulting role with Objective Corporation Limited, as well as consulting and market analyst roles with Gartner Australia and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
His project experience includes enterprise speech/call centre integration, enterprise content management and business process management/dynamic case management solution domains, commanding a keen understanding of customer experience design. As an experienced BPM practitioner, John has also led the implementation of dynamic case management solutions for clients in the superannuation and financial services sector in Australia and Asia.
John reports to Ron Mullins, the former Principal Consultant for IQ Group Queensland operations, who is now based in Sydney in the role of General Manager, Consulting Northern Region.
