FIIG Securities is pleased to announce the appointment of industry leader John Cummins to the newly created position of Head of Institutional Markets.
In his new role, Mr Cummins will be responsible for the growth of the institutional markets business with a particular focus on expanding the range of counterparties FIIG deals with domestically and internationally.
FIIG CEO Mark Paton said the appointment of Mr Cummins, who was formerly Head of Fixed Income and Currencies for RBC Capital Markets, would significantly strengthen the company’s focus on institutional clients including corporates and the public sector.
“John has 30 years of experience in senior leadership roles in fixed income sales, distribution, trading and syndication which makes him ideally qualified for this position,” Mr Paton said.
“We look forward to working together to expand our distribution capacity, deepen our thought leadership capability and lift engagement with the market.”
