The Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) is thrilled to have been given the news that its chief executive officer, Andrew Conway has been announced one of the AFR Boss Magazine, young executives of the year.
“We are very proud to have this accolade bestowed upon Andrew Conway,” said IPA president, Jason Parker.
“Andrew’s leadership of the IPA is insurmountable; if you consider the organisation as a structure, Andrew has not just renovated the building, he has remodelled it based on what the future and our members are demanding.
“His focus on driving members’ best interests is second to none. The Board also applauds the attributes that this award recognises: innovation; influence; consistent high level achievement; visionary (both locally and globally); high level of morals, ethics and values; the ability to instil and drive organisation values; and, strong family values.
“His leadership has taken the organisation to new levels, particularly in the global reach of the organisation and keep in mind, the benefits that flow to our 25,000 plus member and student base.
“On behalf of the Board, I want to congratulate Andrew not just for this accolade but for his ongoing commitment to the accounting profession on a global level,” said Mr Parker.
