IMAP, Institute of Managed Account Providers, has assembled some of the industry’s leading managed account providers to sponsor Managed Accounts Central at the upcoming FPA Congress in Adelaide. At Managed Accounts Central delegates will have free access to PCs and a technology centre for email checking and internet access.
HUB24, netwealth and Philo Capital will join with IMAP to provide FPA congress delegates with greater insights into the various managed account operating models that exist in the market.
“Many advisers have realised that managed accounts offer them an opportunity to transform their businesses. However, there are a number of competing models which offer differing benefits and this is an opportunity for advisers to compare several key alternatives in one location,” said Toby Potter, Chair of IMAP.
“It seemed like a natural fit for netwealth and HUB24 as managed account providers whose businesses are fundamentally dependent on technology. Hub24, netwealth and Philo have all distinguished themselves via their innovative use of technology and, in the case of Philo, through their unique portfolio construction and management capability. The FPA Congress provides an excellent platform to demonstrate the collective expertise of some of the industry’s leading managed account businesses to congress delegates” said Potter.
HUB24, netwealth and Philo Capital all agree that there is an immediate need to build the depth of understanding about managed accounts which will enable advisers and licensees to make more informed decisions when evaluating and selecting managed accounts structures for use in their respective businesses.
