APN Property Group has appointed Paul Barsby to join the retail distribution team where he will be responsible for managing financial adviser relationships in New South Wales, ACT and Western Australia. Paul joins Craig Archer, who manages adviser relationships for Victoria, South Australia and Queensland, Simone Newman (Head of Marketing and Distribution) and Peter Mill (Head of Channel Development). The appointment will help further strengthen APN’s retail distribution reach, particularly in New South Wales where Paul will be based.
With more than 25 years’ financial services experience both in Australia and the UK, Paul has held senior sales roles for AXA, Deutsche Asset Management, Westpac and Prudential and was most recently part of the General Management team at the Financial Planning Association.

His broad and deep relationships across the financial planning industry and strong investment background coupled with his on-the-ground presence in Sydney will play a critical role in significantly driving new business in New South Wales and the ACT.”
