Commonwealth Bank (the Group) today announces CommInsure has been awarded the prestigious title of Life Insurance Company of the Year at the 11th annual Australian Insurance Industry Awards (AIIA) in Sydney last night.
Hosted by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and founding partner Asia Insurance Review (AIR), AIIA awards celebrate the highest standards of excellence as well as dedication to best practice and achievement across all sectors of the insurance industry.
This is the third time CommInsure has won this prestigious award, having been named AIIA (then ANZIF Awards) Life Insurance Company of the Year in both 2010 and 2011.

The award reflected our excellence in the general insurance sector as well, as CommInsure’s General Insurance team were also among the finalists in the Small to Medium General Insurance Company of the Year category.
