Suncorp’s award winning Everyday Super continues to make super simpler for customers and boost their balances via a new paperless rollover service.
The recently launched paperless rollover service enables customers to start the rollover process online using SuperStream technology.
“The new rollover service is a win for customers because it replaces a cumbersome and lengthy process with a quick two minute task. Customers can now sort their super faster than getting their morning coffee and that’s a good start to the day,” Cathy Duncan, Executive Manager Superannuation said.
“Our research told us nearly 1 in 2 Australians find super complicated and around three-quarters of these people feel negative emotions as a result,” Ms Duncan said.
“Unfortunately, some people feel powerless, inadequate and dumb when it comes to superannuationi.”
Suncorp Everyday Super customers see their superannuation balance right next to their bank balance and importantly, it’s as easy as internet banking.
“Suncorp wants to make customers feel positive about a super account they contribute to throughout their working lives. We want to continually evolve and improve the customer experience and making it easier through technology is paramount. We give customers the ability to access and control their super accounts. It’s empowering.”
The rollover service has appealed to customers with a positive and immediate response. During the short time it’s been available, Suncorp has already experienced an increase to the number of customers completing the rollover process rather than dropping out because it’s too hard.
Suncorp Everyday Super was launched in December 2012 and has experienced strong organic customer growth from its branch network and direct channels.
The simplicity and design of its Annual Member Statements was recognised recently, winning the Member Statement of the Year award at the ASFA Marketing and Communications Awards.
