Bridges Financial Services, part of IOOF Holdings Limited, has appointed Mr Nick Langton as its Chief Executive Officer, following an executive search process.
Nick joins Bridges, and IOOF, from Perpetual, where he was most recently General Manager, Private Clients. During his time with Perpetual, he was also Acting Group Executive, Private Wealth & Head of Retail Sales. As CEO, Nick will be responsible for setting the strategy for future growth within Bridges and driving the financial planning business forward in coming years.
Commenting on the appointment, IOOF’s Group General Manager, Advice, Mick Farrell said “Nick’s appointment signals the next phase of growth for the Bridges business. His leadership skills, sales background, and overall strategic experience in financial services will be well utilised in this role.”
Nick has 20 years’ financial services experience, primarily in sales & distribution, but also in business management roles with such organisations as Perpetual, Zurich, Asgard and BT.
Mr Langton will commence Monday 11 August 2014.
