Financial Planning Services Australia names advice award winners

FPSA has awarded its two most prestigious awards at its Hamilton Island conference. Tim Kent of Kent Private Wealth and Frank Schaechtili of FFP Pty Ltd have won the national financial planning awards.

In a ceremony at FPSA’s final evening of the conference, Tim Kent, proprietor of Kent Private Wealth was the recipient of the National Practice of Year, and Frank Schaechtili, proprietor of FFP Pty Ltd was awarded FPSA’s highest individual adviser award, the Professional Standards and Compliance Excellence award.

The National Practice of the Year award recognises the Practice that not only represents high performance and growth, but also maintains strong compliance, active engagement with the group, professionalism of the adviser and staff, exceptional service, attendance at all training events and delivery of quality advice.

Simon Micallef, Head of Advice explained that, “Tim Kent and his team at Kent Private Wealth have had an outstanding year and excelled in all areas to win this award. The team have continued to focus on their client needs, exceptional professional service, and above all delivering quality advice.”

The Professional Standards and Compliance Excellence award winner recognises adviser professionalism, strong compliance standards, attendance at key forums and training, active contribution to the business, and embracing the FPSA Way of Doing Business.

Micallef said, “Frank exemplifies quality compliance and advice standards and actively supports, encourages and participates in the continued improvement in our Compliance and Advice process through our various consultative committees. Frank has been instrumental in the development of best practice advice process’ and tools at FPSA”.

Micallef explained that the awards are integral in the continued evolution of the FPSA business and recognises outstanding achievements of our Advisers throughout the change program that have been undertaken over the past 12 months.
