The Financial Advice Association has received 9525 membership renewals which includes 8093 practitioners.
In an update from the FAAA, it said this meant 90 per cent of advisers have renewed their membership with the association.
There was under 12,000 members between the Financial Planning Association and Association of Financial Advisers before the two merged into the FAAA earlier this year.
