Life insurer AIA Australia has announced a new risk ‘Datafeeds’ for XPLAN to help financial advisers cope with the administrative burden of managing life insurance policies.
In response to an overwhelming demand from advisers, those who use XPLAN can now automatically receive a daily risk ‘Datafeeds’ containing application and policy information from AIA Australia. The automatic data feed will be progressively rolled out to other major planning software providers in the coming months.
There are many benefits to advisers of having the automatic data feed. By removing the need to manually enter updates to clients’ policy data, advisers can free up time to focus on the core elements of their business, rather than putting unnecessary time into administration.
“Having access to AIA policy information via XPLAN’s datafeed is fantastic. We can keep all of our client’s information up-to-date in one place without having to log on to several systems. This allows me to focus on seeing more clients and when I am in the office, the important information I need is right at my fingertips,” said Shannan Stevens, Senior Risk Adviser, GBA Financial Services.
“My time is pretty tight at the best of times and I need to be dedicating as much of my capacity to giving advice to my clients. Anything that enables me to reduce time on admin is welcome, so this sort of automation can only help.”
Tim Tez, Chief Marketing Officer, AIA Australia said the decision to offer Datafeeds for XPLAN is an important development for the organisation.
“We work in close partnership with advisers, and their consistent feedback has been that Datafeeds for XPLAN will help improve business efficiency.”
“We know that advisers want to spend less time on dealing with the administration of clients’ policies and instead focus on providing the best advice possible. We are constantly looking at different ways to help advisers do this, and Datafeeds is another step in the right direction.”
