Graeme Hibbert is the head of cybersecurity governance for the Westpac Group, where he leads the group’s information security policy framework, third‑Party cybersecurity governance, cyber regulatory compliance, and executive and board reporting on cyber risk. He ensures the organisation maintains strong, compliant, and strategically aligned cyber governance.
With more than 20 years of technology and security leadership experience across financial services, insurance, and government in Australia and the UK, Hibbert has shaped cybersecurity strategy and uplift programs in complex, highly regulated environments.
He has delivered major regulatory compliance initiatives, including programs aligned to APRA CPS 234 and the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act, strengthening organisational resilience and regulatory maturity.
He holds an MBA from the University of Sydney and a BSc (Hons) from Kingston University, London.
