Life insurer AIA Australia has dominated this year’s iSelect Partner Awards, winning the Partner of the Year, Life Insurer of the Year and Best Customer Experience award categories.
The Partner Awards recognise those product partners that go above and beyond in making life easier for iSelect’s customers by providing great customer service.
Speaking about the award wins, iSelect CEO Scott Wilson said that AIA Australia had demonstrated exceptional customer experience over the past year.
“At iSelect we want to make life easier for our customers and help them to make the right choice when it comes to some of life’s most important purchase decisions. We call this ‘doing the heavy lifting’ for our customers.
“AIA Australia has really shone in this space over the past 12 months. In an industry where a sale can take an average of 14 days to complete and require numerous conversations, subtle improvements to the operating model can lead to exponential results when it comes to the customer’s experience with iSelect.
“AIA Australia have reduced both the length of time a customer had to spend on the phone to complete an application and the number of medical referrals required. These changes ultimately reduced the number of steps and the amount of time it took for a customer to be insured and protected.”
