Cbus today announced the appointment of Kiran Singh to the role of Investment Specialist, Equities. Mr Singh has extensive experience across both Asia and Australia, most recently as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Nomura Asset Management in Singapore. He has also held senior roles at VFMC and INVESCO in Australia.
Announcing the appointment, Investment Manager – Public Markets, Brett Chatfield noted ³Kiran is a very strong hire that will drive a range of new initiatives as well as further enhance our manager research and dynamic asset allocation processes².
Mr Chatfield also stated ³Cbus is increasingly engaging more directly with corporates and using our size to its maximum value².
Mr Singh said ³Cbus is a very strong brand in the market, and has exciting and ambitious plans that I look forward to contributing to².
Cbus continues to focus on greater efficiency and cost optimisation, using internal capabilities where appropriate, as well as continuing to build strategic partnerships with key providers.
Mr Singh will commence with Cbus on 27 July.
