Class announces a new integration between Class Portfolio, its investment accounting and reporting solution for non-SMSF portfolios, and Stockspot, Australia’s leading automated investment adviser and fund manager.
The new integration delivers a powerful tax reporting solution to Stockspot clients as well as accountants and advisers in the Stockspot Partner Programme. It provides a daily, up to date view of their investment portfolio and shows current market value, income and capital gains. The system also automatically accounts for franking credits and foreign tax credits on distribution income.
The integration gives Stockspot clients and partners a detailed tax summary report that is ready for their accountants, saving many hours of analysis and administration.
Kevin Bungard, CEO of Class, says: “A core feature of Class is the ability to provide investors with up to date visibility of their investment data, which is critical to support effective investment decision making and tax reporting. We’re thrilled that Stockspot has selected Class as being the best investment and tax reporting solution in the market, to meet their current and future business needs.”
Chris Brycki, Stockspot founder and CEO, adds: “The Class integration has supercharged our plans to expand the Stockspot Partnership Programme for accountants and advisers. It means accountants and advisers will have a complete overview of their clients’ investments and tax situation.
“The integration will make the Stockspot client experience even more convenient. We can now instantly generate statements for clients and their accountants, saving them hours of time that would have been spent analysing distributions, tax credits and ETF statements.”
Class partners with more than 50 providers across a range of financial service and product types, bringing efficiency gains for accountants and advisers and greatly enhancing support to their clients.
