Time is running out to nominate for the AFA’s 2016 Awards Program, with nominations closing this Friday 22 July.

The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) Award Program comprises a suite of five awards with Adviser of the Year, Practice of the Year, Rising Star and Female Excellence in Advice awards about to close. The Excellence in Education award has already progressed to the finalists’ stage.

The AFA began their awards program in 2003 and have collaborated with the AFA advice community and partners to deliver a world-class nomination and judging experience.

“The AFA Awards have one key purpose and that is to bring best-practice in financial advice into the spotlight so that all participants and observers to the financial advice profession can see what the best are doing. By working with our partners Zurich, TAL, ANZ Wealth and Asteron Life we have the expertise and resources to thoroughly assess each application and provide a judging experience for nominees that improves them and their businesses as a result of being a participant,” said AFA Chief Executive Brad Fox.

Judging takes place over an eight-week period and up to four rounds of assessment culminating in a Finalist’s Showcase. Winners will be announced during the AFA National Adviser Conference in Canberra 5-7 October 2016.
