Nominations are now open for the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) 2016 Rising Star of the Year Award (the Award), proudly partnered by ANZ Wealth for the 12th year.
AFA CEO and 2008 Rising Star, Brad Fox said the AFA and ANZ Wealth are committed to recognising and encouraging emerging talent within the financial advice profession.
“The Award acknowledges excellence in the advice industry and celebrates the next generation of financial advisers,” he said. “As we’re seeing the pace of innovation in financial services rise, it is exciting to see new entrants embracing innovative ways of delivering advice.”
ANZ Wealth’s Managing Director Alexis George said the AFA Rising Star Award stands as the leading award for budding advisers.

The 2016 AFA Rising Star will:
• Showcase how they are bringing innovation to the provision of their advice
• Exhibit a commitment to their ongoing professional development
• Have been responsible for providing personal financial advice for less than three years
• Be based in a practice, either as an employee or as a principal
• Prove they provide quality financial advice
• Demonstrate they deliver an exceptional client experience
• Be contributing to the financial education of their clients and perhaps the community
• Have the X factor that makes them a Rising Star
