Class, the developer of Class Super and Class Portfolio administration software, has released a new integration with Depreciator, a leading Australian depreciation schedule provider. This latest development will deliver significant efficiencies to accountants and administrators looking after SMSF and other investment portfolios with property assets.
The integration allows Class users to request a depreciation schedule within the Class application. When complete, the depreciation schedule can be directly uploaded to Class, and the schedule is automatically populated.
By allowing the user to request the schedule from within the Class application, and avoiding the need to manually enter depreciation schedule data, the integration delivers significant business efficiencies and data accuracy.
As Kevin Bungard, CEO of Class, explains: “We’re delighted to announce this latest integration with Depreciator. Data entry and management of depreciation schedules has always been a time consuming and largely manual task for accountants and administrators. This latest development will greatly reduce the work involved.”
Hans Dean, CEO at Depreciator adds: “Since we started Depreciator 15 years ago, we have focussed on making things easier for accountants. We introduced CSV versions of depreciation schedules years ago. With the rise of the SMSF industry, we’re now also making things easier for fund administrators with our instant upload into Class. No other provider offers this.”
The new integration was made available in Class’ January release.
