Colonial First State today announced the release of its new-look FirstWrap secure investor website, which will enhance clients’ online experience and make it easier for them to access information about their portfolio.
CFS Head of Retail Platforms, Peter Labrie, said the new site is part of CFS’s Future State Program – a multi-year program of enhancements which will deliver significant capabilities to advisers’ businesses and clients.
“With over $19 billion in funds under administration, Colonial First State’s wrap business continues to receive strong adviser support,” Mr Labrie said.
“Building on the success of the Adviser Dashboard for which FirstWrap was awarded ‘Best Navigation and User Interface’ in the 2013 Investment Trends Platform Report, this enhancement reflects our commitment to supporting advisers and the relationship they have with clients.
“The new site also improves the value we provide to our advisers, who use the website as part of their service offering to clients.
“To keep up with the way investors prefer to access information, we have significantly improved the site’s accessibility by making it fully optimised for tablets.
“We used a customer-centred design approach, asking investors and advisers what they would value on the new website, and it was their feedback that contributed to the site’s final design.
“We tested the prototype extensively with a number of advisers and investors to ensure that customers were the focal point of the design every step of the way, and this is now reflected in the new site.”
Improved portfolio functionality for investors
Through the new-look FirstWrap site, investors will have access to a comprehensive range of information about their portfolio, including:
– A daily portfolio summary, which allows them to see the financial position of each account within their portfolio, including investment holdings, available cash and pending transactions;
– A comprehensive range of reports including account transactions, asset allocation, performance, income, capital gains and more;
– Ongoing account notifications for key events, such as upcoming regular contributions and pension payments, expiring beneficiary nominations, maturing term deposits and insurance premiums;
– Access to their Centrelink Payment Schedule;
– An interactive portfolio balance chart that shows the balance of their accounts over a chosen date range.
