Nigel Baker

Nigel Baker is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Financial Planner and wealth management specialist who owns and is the managing director of Arch Capital, a boutique wealth advisory firm in Sydney. Nigel founded Arch Capital in 2012 and the business serves retirees executive and independent women advisory clients who have entrusted him with more than $400 million of assets. He uses a consultative and evidence based approach to gain a detailed understanding of his clients deepest values and goals. The team employs tailored recommendations designed to address each client’s unique needs and goals beyond simply investments. Previously Nigel spent nine years as a principal of Australia’s 5th largest accounting group and headed up the Sydney wealth management team. He has sat on a committee for the Financial Planning Association and been in various journals and involved in industry round tables. One of the key drivers of starting Arch Capital was to build a truly independent practice and also help the Humpty Dumpty Foundation in honour of his second son Archie. Through events  such as swims and the Noosa triathalon the team has raised over $100,000.
