As the CEO of Lonsdale, Millennium3, and IOOF Alliances, Blackford is responsible for the operations of a network of approximately 700 self-employed financial advisers.
Prior to this role, Blackford has been the CEO of Millennium3 since August 2018, after joining Millennium3 as the national manager of advice and practice management in January 2016. She has 26 years’ experience in the finance industry, and has specialised in financial planning throughout her career, including practicing for five years as an adviser. Helen has held a variety of senior management positions including head of professional development for ANZ Global Wealth, and head of advice business services at Colonial First State.
Blackford is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, has a Diploma of Financial Planning, a Bachelor of Business, a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning, a Masters of Business Administration, and is a Certified Financial Planner.
After 12 years based in Sydney, in 2019 Blackford and her husband Scot moved ‘home’ to Queensland.
