Dominic McCormick has worked in financial services, investment consulting and investment management for 38 years. In 2002 he co-founded multi-asset manager and implemented consultant, Select Asset Management which was sold to OneVue Holdings in 2014. Dominic was chief investment officer at Select until mid-2016 before consulting on investment strategy and research for Select’s Customized Portfolio Solutions and managing the wind-down of the Select Listed Investments Fund. Since 2019 he has further expanded his investment consulting activities to cover investment committee roles, fund research and listed investment funds.
Prior to co-founding Select, McCormick provided investment consulting services to several financial planning organisations between 2001-2002. From 1993 to 2001 he held research roles at financial planner/stockbroker Bridges Financial Services including head of research from 1996. Prior to this he held investment and technical research roles at Pembroke Financial Planners, MLC and AMP.
McCormick has a Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University, a Master of Commerce (Finance) from University of New South Wales and has completed the Securities Institute of Australia Diploma.
